This here TV, it’s a crazy thing, ain’t it? My grandson, he’s always on about this Sony Six thing. Says it’s where you watch the cricket. Cricket, you know, that game with the bats and the ball. He gets all riled up watching it.
He showed me once. Lots of men running around in the sun. I told him, “Boy, you get out there in that heat, you’ll get a sunstroke!” But he just laughed. Said it’s important, this Sony Six live TV cricket match. They hit that ball real hard, I tell ya.
Gotta Have That Sony Six for Cricket
He says you gotta have this special channel, Sony Six. Otherwise, you can’t see the match. Back in my day, we didn’t have all these fancy channels. We just had one, maybe two. And we were happy with it! Didn’t need no live cricket match on the TV to keep us entertained.
But these young folks, they’re different. They need all this stimulation. Always glued to that screen. He says it’s live streaming. Sounds like a fish to me. But it means you see it as it’s happening. Like magic, almost.
This Sony Thing Got Shows Too

- Got all sorts of things on it. Not just cricket.
- My grandson, he watches other stuff too.
- Movies and shows, he says. All on that Sony LIV.
- They even got news on there.
I saw them playing, some team called Pakistan. They lost to another one called South Africa. My grandson was sad, said they lost three times. He said they gotta try to win the next three. I don’t know about these games, but sounds like a lot of playing. They gonna play a series they call ODI, whatever that is. That Sony Six, always showing these games. Guess folks like to watch.
He was saying they are going to show it on the Sony Sports Ten 5. Got some other one too, Sony Sports Ten 5 HD. What’s HD? He says it’s clearer. Like looking through a clean window, I reckon.
All This Newfangled Stuff
It’s all too much for me, I tell ya. But he loves it. He can watch his Sony Six live TV cricket match, and that’s all that matters. He says you can even watch it on your phone now. Imagine that! A tiny little screen.
I asked him, “Where can I watch this Sony sports live?” He just pointed at that little box and that phone. Says you can get it anywhere now. World’s a crazy place, I tell you. This Sony LIV and Sony Six, it’s everywhere!
These young ones and their technology. They got all these ways to watch their live cricket match. It’s a wonder they ever get anything done, with all that watching.
But hey, if it makes them happy. If that Sony Six live TV cricket match is what they want to do, then who am I to stop them? Just gotta make sure they don’t spend all day in front of that screen. There’s a whole world out there, even without the cricket.
I remember we used to play outside all day. Didn’t need no Sony Six or Sony LIV. We made our own fun. But times change, I guess. Now it’s all about that live streaming and that cricket. And that’s alright, I suppose. As long as they’re happy. That’s what matters. Just wish they’d come outside once in a while, get some fresh air. Maybe even hit a ball around themselves, instead of just watching it on that Sony Six all day long.
