Today I want to talk about a really interesting game that I made – it’s called “hand football game”. It’s pretty cool, I spent lots of time on it. You know, I just wanted to make a simple but fun game, and this is what I came up with.

So, first, I thought about what the game would be like. I figured it should be easy to understand, you know? Like, anyone could just pick it up and play. Then, I started learning the basics. I checked out some online tutorials and videos to understand how football works, the positions, the rules, and some basic moves like passing and shooting. It was a bit tough at first, but I got the hang of it.
Next, I planned how the game would start. I learned that football games usually begin with a kickoff, so I decided to do something similar. I imagined two team captains meeting with a referee for a toss, just like in real football. The winner would get the ball and choose the direction. Pretty neat, right?
- I made the game start with a simple ‘tap’ on the halfway line.
- Then, I focused on the gameplay.
- I practiced a lot on how to make the players move and pass the ball.
- I even tried out different ways to handball, like over the shoulder and sitting.
It was a lot of trial and error, but it was fun. I also had to figure out how to end the round. In some games, you need to do certain things to “go out,” so I incorporated that idea into my game.
I spent days just practicing and tweaking the game. I wanted it to be smooth and enjoyable. I added some rules for 2, 3, and 4 players, so it could be played with friends. The idea was to make it a simple card game that anyone could enjoy.
Making the Game Fun and Fair
I made sure the game was not just about winning but also about having a good time. I created a stock pile with cards and a discard pile, just to make it more interesting. I really wanted to make sure the setup was perfect, so the game would run smoothly.

Finally, I tested the game with my friends. It was awesome to see them enjoying it. We played for hours, and it felt great to see my idea come to life. This whole experience taught me a lot about game making and how much effort goes into even the simplest games.
So, that’s my story about making the “hand football game”. It was a great journey, and I’m pretty proud of what I accomplished. Hope you guys find it as fun as I did making it!
